Brazil goosed up. The top three of the best footballer of the year award is always the same people:
Thierry Henry,
Zinedine Zidane,
Ronaldinho
Ronaldinho may be the best but France have two runners up. Recently I don't think Ronaldinho has played t his standard because I don't think he played very well in the Champions League Final and I don't think he's any good in the World Cup. Ronaldinho is losing it. One Brazilian down.
Ronaldo has passed his time, he may be world cup top scorer but he is not fit. Two Brazilians down.
Kaka got a new hair-do which decreases his quality of play. Three Brazilians down.
And all the other Brazilians which are decent rely on the brilliant players to do all the work. This is all BAD TACTICS.
France on the other hand have beaten Brazil on their last two meetings.
Zidane is old and is soon retiring, but he is still a good skillful player (Did you see his tricks?) Ok One French player down.
Thierry Henry is a fine young player.
Frank Ribery is young and improving.
Malouda is a great winger.
So, Brazil have been going great since Pèle's time but now there era was come to an end.
R.I.P.
Brazil's good football team.

Because they were lacking team spirit and hard work. Brazil is known as a team that plays great Football, and indeed they do, most of the time. They also have players with exceptional talents in abundance. But talent alone does not win a match.
Tonight Brazil was playing Football, while France was fighting to win the match. That's the reason why France won and Brazil lost.
By the way, the last time Brazil won a World Cup in Europe was 1958, when they beat the host country Sweden in the final 5:2.

From the start, if England wasnt to go thru....it had to be Brasil-well, at least thats the way i would have liked it! (Only England because its the right thing to do, with being from the place...but wanted Brasil to winnnnn!!)
At the end of the day, France won fair and square, as much as it hurts to say that, its true!
No doubt for the next few days everyone will rant on about how the cup was taken from Brasil (not much chance they will say the same about England!) but when it comes down to it, France obviously played better than Brasil, otherwise they wouldnt have won!!
At the end of the match, the atmosphere seemed really good, friendly! something else you never hear being said at any match England are involved in!
Best of Luck to the teams that r left!
Its only a game afterall!!

They were overconfident just like the Spaniards were.
We won the game & it's only fair, we scored a splendid goal & now Brazilian fans are moaning and whimping & put forward the fact that France bribed the referee. How shameful to be that rancorous.
By the way where was Ronaldinho tonight?
The only good team defeated by Brazil was Croatia, sorry to say that but Japan , Australia & Ghana were piece of cake Ronaldo and co
Does someone still think that the Franch team is composed of old players? I assume now everyone will stop taking the mick...
One more thing : sorry for England but Ericksson sucks, he should have taken Defoe, Bent , Harewood or Vassell instead of Crouch & Walcott

Brazil itself is of course a very strong team, every single player in brazil should be feared. But they became overconfident, they begin striving for a goal at the very last min, which is a vital mistake. In addition, Brazillians does not seemed as focused as they usually do. France, Thierry Henry, had already said he has exploit throu brazil's defence. Brazil should keep a close eye on him, like how France kept an eye on Ronaldinho. Non of Brazillian's beautiful strikes occured in the match, many awaits Roberto Carlos's powerful strikes 25yards away, with cooperation of Ronaldinho. Carlos Alberto Parreira wanted Brazil to had more ball possesions then jus rushing forward attacking, like they usually do(infact, that's what makes Brazil a fearsome team). But, this time in the match, it seems that Brazil took Parreira's words, and slowed down their attack. Brazil needs previous World Cup 2002 Coach back, Luiz Felipe Scolari(now Portugal's Coach). France had to Shatter Brazil's defence by weakening Both Lucio and Juan, and it happened. Its good that France thought throughly before the match, Brazil will learn from this match, and come back Strong again in 2010.

Because Parreira changed the lineup!
He should ve left Ronaldinho in the midfield instead of making him a forward freeby and leaving the task to Juninho Pernambucano.
The midfield should have been GIlberto Silva and Ze Roberto as ball recoverers and then Ronaldinho and Kaka feeding Adriano and Ronaldo ....
NOW Ronaldo was not for this game! They needed youth to counter the old frenchmen. Robinho and Cicinho should have started for old Cafu and Ronaldo.
BUT
Parreira put big names and top scorers before what was actually BEST for the team.

world cup trophy has no destination for a team to be sure of it all the way. Brazilians were careful and never seemed to be confident but the problem you know is this thing called tricks on the pitch. The Jacques Chirac boys were more careful than ever having blamed for being mostly old. (Viera talked of this immediately as they won). From the lips of this Brazilian gold Robinho, "the frenchmen deserved victory in all the ways because they played skillful, had ways to tackle dangers and careful used all chances to the most worrying attacks. they made sure we remain defencing than attacking and so kept us helplessly counting how to revise moves, unfortunately time was running and so we had to loose the match".

Brazil did their best, but France was so great with their team cooperation. Zidane and Henry, both of them were leading to make the team win to the next stage. Their defense was tough and cool, and their move and run with a ball were certain. Brazil could not demagnetize to let France make a goal.
I'm sure Brazil will come back strong next time in 2010, and I hope to see them and their smile again!
Muito obrigada por tudo pra vcs!

It was unfortunate that Brazil lost today but as we all know it is a game of luck at times. Brazil can’t always win the world cup so this year it looks like there will be a new winner. My team Spain went home early, but I would like to see Portugal win the cup! Enjoy the rest of the tournament!
