Yes, the English fans were amazing and I loved how they were constantly supportive of their team. I don't think the English team has anything to be ashamed of. Unfortunately the better team did not win today.

Yeah i agree =D They were great and even sang 'whatever will be will be' before the penalties! Which was a nice touch. I am gutted too (as you can probably see from other questions i asked!) about the scumbag diving, cheating, worthless Portuguese (sorry had to get that off my chest) Mainly due to the sly and slimy Ronaldo, who smirked and winked when Rooney was sent off and was seen taunting Rooney giving him a slight headbutt at the very beginning.
I think to be honest he better move because he would seriously be killed by some mad fans if he ever even steps foot on English soil. He will because of this be booed for an eternity (which in my opinion is fine =D)
The players played well. The defense was great and remained unbroken by Portugal till the very bitter and saddening end. They played well and it was always going to be the penalties that brought them down. Shame!!!!!!!
The world cup will not be the same without you!
but
We Still Do Love You England!*!*!

All the refs have been cack! Even the English guy who booked the same okayer 3 times! But yes, massive big up to the English fans! All me and my friend could hear was the nation anthem being sung and OMG didn't it make us feel good! And yes, also agree with your comment about the cheating, diving portuguese (bad word here!). Was screaming at the telly quite a bit and even my 2 year old daughter was getting involved! Can't believe who many decisions have gone against England though (in all the matches). Obviously everyone is against us! How cack is that.

I agree- it should have been a higher profile ref from Europe. Hate to be negative but there's got to be a reason why FIFA chose an Argentine ref. And the England team played well even without Rooney, Becks and Owen.
And yes, I hope Rooney kicks Ronaldo in the jewels (for real this time) when they return to Manchester.

Yeah, England fans were great, but I think we may find that United want rid of ronaldo (deliberate lower case, I'm so nasty) to fund their move for Carrick. Their funds being more limited these days under their new regime.
And as for the referees, I think you'll find that in the recent history England in particular have had more trouble with European Refs!

that's what i love about football the passion and you can say about the Brazilians beating their drums..but when the chips are down watch them moan....we on the other hand have that never say die attitude and i can sincerely say tonight I'm proud to be English..yes it was gutting seeing us lose on penalties yet again but the heart them fellows put in cant be matched by any other team. we don't need to cheat we play with our heart and it is with that that will make us remembered. and as for ronaldo he should be banned from the next match you don't do that to anyone let alone your own team mate i hope Rooney breaks his leg because ronaldo has broken Rooney's heart tonight,
