Could be any number of things, does he take Zoloft or another kind of anti-depressant? Medications can interfere with things working correctly. What is a long time anyway, hour? Is this a recent problem or has he always taken longer? Good place to start would be for the two of you to talk about your concerns.

It's probably that he's enjoying the physical sensations, and wants to wait as long as he can before having an orgasm.

His age is a factor too - teenagers and younger men can typically orgasm faster.

I would suggest he see a doctor , is he on any meds ? That may be a reason . I have had the same problem for 5 years now and I'm 58 years old . Good luck to you and your husband .

that would not bug me!. The more turned on a man is the quicker he will go. Work him up a bit more before you have acual sex. Age should not cause this 48 is not OLD.

no your just not turning him on enough,when a guy cums fast its because the person he is with is turning him.you need to chang some thing
