Chomsky is not anti American or communist- he is opinionated

West Point gives a rounded education - and is open to all ideas and philosophies
They may disagree with you after listening to you - but they will listen politely and learn what you think

Chomsky is the leading intellectual in this country. He not only is a professor of linguistics at MIT but also philosophy. The reason why places like West Point would have him lecture there is because his factual insight is always right on the money. I saw Chomsky in a debate one time and he backed everything he said with facts that the public could find and research as appose to the other debater that used his time trying to put Chomsky down. For the same reason that you wont see Chomsky on Fox news. Fox is afraid of being pummeled by the truth when most of the time they spend it with lies and propaganda. In all fairness to Fox the other media outlets are the same, it's just that Fox is the front runner of lies. Read his latest book Failed States or his last one Hegemony or Survival and see for yourself. You will thank me that you did.

He is an intellectual genius who has advanced modern liguistics.

Lingustics is what he teaches.

He is such a bad a$$ that as a hobby he has become an expert on american policy.

He once visted my university and lectured on ligustics...people walked out, wanting the politics.

West point isn't anti intellecual is it? it isn't for one world view, or censorship is it?

Should linguistics be boycotted? Just kidding the lecture was on politics, i think that the any thinking man, any man who may be sent to war should be presented with alterantive view points,

if they are willing to die for thier country, they deserve no less than all possible views on an issue.
