would you agree that you share some kind of deeper understanding, a certain connection, no matter what gender you two are?

please don't answer if you're not bisexual.

my question isn't about sharing your gf/bf with others, but about whether you have experienced this feeling of a deep connection, understanding, due to the fact that you understand your gf/bf on a level that no one else can?

YES!!! My partner and I are celebrating three glorious months together today. This is my first relationship because I was afraid no one would ever be able to understand what I feel. On the other hand, my significant other has had several relationships with both sexes and claims that ours is the first one with a true connection and when both people can be totally honest and accepting. We love each other so much that we stopped caring what other people think of us together.

That we are better positioned to understand each other's sexuality, needs, desires and issues? tick

That we can be crass and comment upon people we see as prospective sexual partners, regardless of gender? tick

That, as bisexuals, we are uniquely placed to have a deeper connection - unknown/unavailable to monos? Don't delude yourself.

I grew up around old folks homes (which my parents ran). I knew some old straight couples who had been together for 50 or 60 years. The connection these had for each other - was almost psychic. I'm sure gay couples are also able to achieve this connection.

I wish. Right now I just fantasize about this tasty treat that works in my area. She is pretty, sexy, friendly and very good at her job. I always thought she was cute and then found out she had a girlfriend. It was like a fantasy come true. I'd love the chance to spend some time with her to do some girly girl things like shopping and then some pampering. I don't know if I want a relationship of a serious nature with her but I do know I want her.
