this is for daytime.............take 4 tablespoons of baking soda......some confetti stars found in hobby store and put in 2 liter bottle..........pour 2 cups of vinegar in quickly.....cap the top with thumb....shake......move thumb slightly to side.......sing star bangled banner while the mixture spews out.........other than that?......buy them like everyone else does......Happy 4th of July.

Homemade fireworks is not a good idea. Go watch some. Don't make them.

When I was a kid, we were very poor and could not afford fireworks. We tied a string around a piece of steel wool and set it on fire. The effect was very cool especially at night.

You have to be very careful, because people have been burned and killed by this. Check out online, or at a local library. They may have some information there that'll get you started.

hmm.. myo sodaworks, drop 4 mentos into a new 2 L bottle of diet coke. No fire to contend with, but a nice explosion.
