Yes. I wanted England to win, but now that Portugal has won .. just be happy for the Portuguese?! After all, they worked hard for it as much as the British did!

I feel for any team or fan who are eliminated from the tournament, having their hopes and dreams dashed. But England just never really found their game or a winning player combination this time round. I know players play the game but you can never under estimate the drive and ability of a coach like Portugal have. Look at his success with Brazil. I think England would benefit from a coach that is home grown and has a better understanding and knowledge of the players and talent he has around him and at his disposal. But hey, look forward to 2010. Hard to take a loss, particularly at this stage in the competition, but there are many talented players for the right coach to build on and much young talent to take the place of those who may now leave the WC arena. The future is hopeful.

I'm sad too. I didn't even think portugal deserved to be there after that game against the Netherlands. But it's not like portugal really played all that great. They were a man up and still couldn't score. England is still the better team I think.

Portugal totally DID NOT deserve to win but I think that England would have had a hard time if they had gone through without Rooney and Beckham.
Don't you worry though. France are going to crush Portugal. Bye bye Portugal.

No, I'm thrilled that Portugal sent England packing. They were playing too bad throughout the tournament to deserve a place in the semis.

I am not mad,i am sad because the england team are not really good at penalty shots,they have known this for years but still did not practice to overcome this failing

Not really, I mean both teams played poorly this game. But the whole red card thing was good. Would you want someone to step on you? Especially where it was. While PK's arn't the best way to decide a game, both played poorly so it was just who played "poorlyer"

not really.. i'm soooo happy that Portugal won.. England hadn't show any outstanding performance throughout the tournament ;-)

Feel sad for the poor guy who can't have babies because rooney stomped his sack. I mean your team lost but at least you werent that guy.
