My friends all give me crazy-face when they learn this, but I thought all wives do this. So now I want to know who's crazy.

he's not hurt, and he doesn't expect... he just assumes. He says, "Sock it to me" and by now, I know what that means. I try to tell myself... not that it's my "duty", but that it's something nice to do, but this morning, he asked me to "pant him" as well.

Of course you are not crazy...I admire someone who will take care of a paraplegic. True dedication.

I think it's cute - it should stay between you two though because people will make fun and misunderstand and if you both are okay with it and it's a part of your history - your routine between you two - then go for it. When my husband was working a swing shift military duty and a part time job at the mall too (to pay off bills) he'd be sooo tired - I got into the habit of doing that too - and it's just a part of us... :)

Nothing wrong with pampering a spouse on occasion but this seems a bit weird to me. I will take my hubby's shoes and socks off occasionally if he has had a long day and he is tired. I sure do not do it on a daily basis.

If you like doing it, it's between the 2 of you. I take my hubby's shoes and socks off for him. He comes homes tired and wears boots to work. He can do it, I just do it as a show of support to him.

It's not that crazee if it's something you do for him - and maybe he has a back problem and really appreciates your help - and maybe he does some unusual things for you.
But if he's always expected you do this for him, and if you've been led to believe that is part of your 'duties'....then I would question what is going on.

Hell, no. It is NOT normal. Tell your moma's boy to get his behind with the program and do it himself. He could also be using this nonesense as a means to demean you. If he sees you as having less value than himself, then this would certainly explain the situation.
I would seek professional help. Believe me when I tell you that he has unresolved issues. What's next, cleaning his fat culo after toilet use?
Mr. M on is that normal.

Maybe out of fun sometimes. But Hunny if you do this on a regular basis then you need to stop and he needs to pull his head out his butt!!

does he put your bra and undies on you? sounds like he is lazy and crazy for letting him make you do this. he is a grown man and can dress himself i am sure his mother taught him that
NO THIS IS NOT NORMAL!!! for him to use you like this.
but if you each do small things like this for each other it shows you care but not for him to demand you to do this everyday for him.

If you have no problem doing it and he's not forcing you to do it, then I don't see the problem. I would do it for my husband if he wanted me to.
