Depending on how much you're spending, I've been looking at a Fender Stratocaster Acoustic, it runs right around $270, and I think it sounds pretty decent.

Pretty much any Ovation styled guitar (plastic, rounded back). I've got a knock-off Ovation, but I can't remember the brand, but it sounds very good, and is easy to play. I got it for $160.

Why not buy a used guitar for $50-$100 in a music shop? That was my first "learner" guitar. Once you feel comfortable with ti and know that you want to continue, then you can spend some big bucks for a fine instrument.
