Above ground, in some areas it could be gone in days, others maybe weeks. Underground would take much longer depending on climate, depth, etc.

decompostion is quicker above ground, in most conditions, as in the sun for example, the heat well burn away at it for a few day before not much is left, below grounf, its much longer as u only got worms and maggots feeding and they dont come to feed until the body starts leeking bacteria and goo from itself
