It depends, this could be considered noise pollution and disrupting the peace, as well as disruptive behavior. They can give you a ticket if you have been given several warnings or complaints from neighbors.
Police can always find some way to give you a ticket if they feel that need to, there are cover all rules which they can use in any situation for a ticket to be justified.
The best advice would be to consider your neighbors and keep the music down low enough that there house doesn't shake or rattle and they can't hare it over there own activities, (disturbs them.)

If there's a local noise ordinance, hell yeah! Even if there isn't, you can always be cited for disturbing the peace. Refusing to comply with the cop's order to turn it down could get you arrested as well.
