physical- the chemical make up of the candle does not change - it is still wax, just in liquid form. Once it is no longer hot, it will harden just as it was before - it is just like ice- the chemical make up is the same , it has just taken on a different physical form and can be reverted back to its original phyical form

it is both you add heat to the flame and the waxs melts the candle the chemical changes from the heat .

superb of success with this one. unwell have an interest to confirm what different persons propose. that's a puzzling because of the fact the wax desires melting or dissolving. i think you are able to not elevate the carpet up & have already picked off what you are able to by ability of hand.. i'm afraid i don't understand of any solvents which will artwork on wax, yet possibly a steam purifier might help. It won't get rid of the wax, however the warmth may be adequate to soften the wax& enable it circulate added down into the carpet so as that this is hidden.

i think as you see the candle melt it is physically, because the heat from the flame is causing the wax's cells to move faster and faster. Thank God for fire.
