The answer to this question is determinate upon several factors. You must consider the material that the suit is made from and the quality of the casket that the person is buried in. Also, some states and or cemetaries require a vault for the coffin to be place in while other may not. These factors would have a bearing on the length of time that a suit would remain intact in a coffin. With a sealed vault and a sealed coffin with proper embalming, the suit and the deceased wearing it could last for several decades before breaking down to a point of not being able to recognize the difference between the material of the coffin, the body , and the suit.

The one factor to consider would be whether the deceased is embalmed or not.
Embalmed and buried with an good quality casket within a concrete or lead lined vault should protect the deceased for his eternity.
Buried without embalming would mean the suit would be exposed to the breakdown of the body into fluids and might cause the suit material to go the way of the deceased or as the saying goes "from dust to dust>

Wouldn't this depend on the material of the suit, the quality of the coffin, the climate of the burial place, and so many other factors?

Is not an entire suit. Only the front tuck underneath the cadaver.

It probably depends on what the suit is made of....wool, cotton, polyester....
