it told me i had to unstall "plug & play" and i uninstalled it, but dont know how to reinstall it. now i am gettinf an multimedia audio control pop up. i cant uninstall sound max becaue it says "the parameter is incorrect"

1: Check all your cable connections
2: Check your speaker's power supply if any
3: make sure you do not have MUTE on by accident

*IF* none of this solves the problem:

Go into DEVICE MANAGER and UNinstall the sound card Drivers

Then Shut down your computer, I do NOT nean Reboot.

Wait a minute or two then turn cmputer back on. Windows will find the sound card and Reinstall drivers.

I can't tell you how many times, I have heard of sound card drivers getting "glitched\corrupted, etc"

on your using your inboard sound card or using an pci soundcard, if both are installed you got a conflict just remove the card and reload the driver on board soundcard

alt+f4 always works.. push it right now and it will reinstall your "plug and play" .. heh
