I think we do, at least in some form. I believe in reincarnation. Well you have to really, I mean why not? you only live once, so might as well believe in it :D

No i wouldn't. For two reasons. The first one is that if only i would have i chance to live forever i would see all my loved ones die one after another until i would be alone in this world.
Two after my experience, life is hard enough as it is, so why would i prolong it...
And if there is such thing as reincarnation.. then it whats the sense of living forever if you can experience childhood all over again instead of being old, and older, and older :):):)

Personally, I have no familial attachments beyond myself (no wife, kids, or adoptees.) and I am not religious in nature. If I had the chance, right here, right now, for the scientific interest in of itself, yes, I would like to live forever.
To chronicle the history and world from that level of perspective I find would be interesting, and I don't think it would be of any interest to defy religious order... I am interested solely as a student of humanity, and I don't care to pass on the information I learn. Unlike watching apes in the wild, when it comes to sociological experimentation, it's easy to observe without interfering with the subjects in examination.
Of course, it's easy for me to say this now, but one day, I'll meet someone, I'll reproduce like everyone else, and I won't be able to answer like this ever again without my wife unplugging my laptop and telling me to go off to work.

I really don't know. On one hand I want to see everything and do everything before I die. On the other, would I, at a couple of billion years old, be capable of doing anything? If I didn't age and I had my friends and family living forever with me, maybe.

No... and not because of what the Bible says, either.
Would you really want to live forever? I have to say, while i'm very happy to be alive, i'm looking forward to dying as well - it must be nice to feel like you've finished. I couldn't deal with having to live forever!

good question ! no i would not like to live forever (in this body state, other wise i think almost all of us are immortal) because life would get too boring after a while that's why i think that the Hindu's
have reincarnation theory where you you would get Chances to enjoy all types of lifestyles with a blank slate each time !

No, as I'd hate to miss my funeral. Also as I think I'd lose my humanity and, though there is the feeling of immortality in youth, the knowledge of an end(?) alters the life I lead now.

only if my family, friends and pets did.other wise it would be pointless.you'd watch everyone around you die and there would be nothing you could do to stop it.and you'd face eternity sad and alone.eventually the sun is going to get to close to the earth and the world wont be here and you ll be floating around in space for all eternity

No, 'cos it would be hard to watch your friends and everyone around you die. It would be boring too, unless the eternal life contract comes with an eternal youth clause... oh, the fun...

NO!
Outliving my children would be my worst nightmare!
Watching the world squander natural resources...
... I don't think so.
And having plastic surgery regularly so that I don't look like a dried prune...
...No thank You!
