the last time ENGLAND won a penalty shoot-out in major football tournament was in EURO 96, when they beat Spain 4-2 on penalties in the quarter-finals. since then, they have lost all of their penalty shoot-out including last night's defeat to Portugal.

yes it went 2 penalties but one was not our fault..it ruined our chances 4 the rest of the team the ref had blown the whistle and then their idiot keeper said he wasnt ready.. wudnt that hav put u off... we had 2 take a shot again and by then he had lost his concentration and the bloody ref thru the 1st half was against us.. rooney wud not hav been sent off in the 1st place if the ref had seen him bein pulled around by the 2 portugal players.. the whole thing just fucked me off.
