I am not sure but I have been very sick with the flu for 12 days and am not feeling any better. Last night I thought I was going to die. I haven't been sick in about 20 yrs or more.
I think it is just a real bad flu. I can only sit up as I am doing now 9Laptop) not at the desk and barely can make the bathroom from the dizziness I feel.
I have bad headaches, I am blowing and hacking all the time, body aches too, very shaky. I
just down right feel like I should be in a hospital.
my business is on hold and I have lost many customers over this flu. When I lay down I cough until my brains feel they are coming out.
I am very weak feeling.
So maybe this is the flu they are talking about. No vomiting or toilet sits.
I just sent my sister to the store to stock up on Juices, fruit, soups, and jello since this is all I feel I can take in. I can't taste anything either.

The reason the bird flu has cause so much hype is because it has the potential to do much damage. But as of yet the bird flu isnt communicable between birds and people.
If it is able to mutate, however, the estimated death tolls (the last time I heard) was:
1 in 10 people will die.
Thats roughly 800 million people. Mostly infants and the elderly.

Its media hype. The number of people killed by in the last 3 years is somewhere like 300.... thats in the whole world.
Compare that to deaths related to obesity, smoking etc - and yet people are still happily shoving down burgers and smoking while panicking about bird flu.
