France played very well today and deserved the victory. Brazil was agressive in the second half but run out of steam. It was a classic and historic game as we will never see these two teams fight again with Zidane still around. Ronaldo is putting more weight and can't run fast anymore. but in the end it was a great game!!! Cheers!!

I knew it wouldn't be easy for brazil to win against france (they're strong this cup) but I thought they would.
didn't see that one coming...even though I should have. brazil's play wasn't even close to how they played in 2002. they let france attack over and over again...and when brazil's captain left the field it almost looked like a resignation (though I don't know if he left for physical reasons! I'm watching the games on the spanish channel so I don't really understand that much) and even though brazil turned it up a little they looked a little lost. not what you're used of them. I think it's kind of sad, but also think france deserved it and am happy for zidane since this year's world cup marks the end of his soccer career as a player (don't know what his future plans are...); he's a nice guy.

I am sure that they were not expecting that result at all, especially with how les blues barely even qualified for the second round. I think Brazil just expected to cruise along to victory, and France decided to bring it. Good job France! I hope they destroy Portugal next.

When we talk about that team, we talk about Hundreds of Millions of dollars, that's a real budget for a city in the third world .

Brasil is OUT... Even if PORTUGAL does not win the next game which can go either way to france or portugal. Portugal has already moved ahead of Brasil big time.

I had made reservations for them and bought air tickects so i am waiting for them to hit showers and in a jiffy they will be heading home. Good job france.
