Go natural, that's how skin was made! I don't buy all that chemical treatment stuff like Proactive (or however it's spelled). I discovered Nelson' Acne Gel about 5 years ago and it's phenomenal! My zits often go away by the very next day. You can find this or other natural products at Sun Harvest or other organic supermarkets such as Whole Foods. Also, go along with some natural soap and use it twice a day: when you wake up and when you go to sleep, and after the wash, apply the gel. It has a nice cooling feeling like menthol. Now, you have to keep up this routine or else it might not work nor will nothing else most likely. But I do hope you can find some good natural products if you've used all the chemical stuff. They cost slightly more than chemical crap, but it's way worth it!

I use dermologica and have an ENTIRE system. They have stuff for EVERY skin type and every probalem imaginable. Pre-clense which is oil. It mixes with your bad acne oils and get's rid of it. It also gets rid of make-up that wasn't taken off all the way. Next, use the face wash. It is refreshing and leaves your face actually feeling cleaned and moisturized! Next, apply the toner. Once a week, use a cooling mask which cools your face down and gets rid of red skin and inflamed skin and puffy skin. ONLY ONCE A WEEK OR THIS IS TOO MUCH PRODUCT. Next, put on the medicating clearing gel directly onto the zits. If you are clear, skip this step. Finally, use a moisturizer. All of this does wonders. It keeps your skin moisturized, while training your skin not to produce so much oil and acne causing bacteria. Please email me if you have any further questions or if you wish to see my complexion as proof (it works wonders and I use to be BAD)
AND ALSO NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER PICK YOUR ZITS!!!

Proactiv only works on certain skin types, it may not work for you. Use a gentle skin cleanser (Like Noxema or Nuetragena) twice a day. Go to the Dermatologist- he/she will know what is best for you. DON'T use anything with salysilic acid- it only dries out the skin. Benzoyl peroxide is the best way to go. Get out and excersize and eat right. What ever you do- don't touch your face unless you've washed your hands. Never pick at a zit. I finally started doing all thhis stuff and my face is claering up!

Zits will not just dissapear, first to make the redness or swelling go down you can use cortizone cream, or visine eye drops, it will help some. You need a good skin regimine. My boy's use Clinique cleanser to wash with (do not scrub your skin, it will make it worse) and SeaBreeze antiseptic toner. Toothpaste will also get rid of the redness and swelling with it's antibacterial agents, but it must be toothpaste, not gel. (put it on at night and go to sleep, wash it off in the morning, your zit will not be as red and inflamed)

I use the Clear Skin Regimen at http://www.acne.org. It's a non-profit (so it's free), the guy who created used to suffer from pimples himself. The system works wonders on my face, and its helped countless other people. The best part is that you don't have to order or buy any expensive treatments, everything you need for the Regimen can be found at your local drugstore. Find out more at the website.
In general, for clear skin it helps if you: don't touch/pick at your skin, drink lots of water, wash your hair frequently, change your pillowcases, exercise, wear little make-up (or if needed, hypo-allergenic makeup), and minimize stress. Another tip is to look up online consumer reviews of acne products before you buy them, using sites like epinions.com or drugstore.com. A great website I use to get cosmetic reviews is makeupalley.com (A mostly women's site). Hope this helps!

proactive does not work for everyone. Wash your face at least 2 times a day I recommend dove or Noxzema and find a good toner
an astringent. Keep your hands off of your face and change your pillow case every couple of day's. especially if your are a teen.
It may take a couple of weeks but you should start to clear up. And no matter what anyone says rubbing alcohol is not a good thing to put on your face.

Trust me it takes time just give it some time clean ur face don't over do it because it just makes it worst keep it moisterized watch out for products that contain mineral oils and other such oils... Try a mask to dry them up and then just give it some time and don't worry or stress as much that causes them to appear as well relax and everything will be fine
