Great question. Rooney's poor upbringing has rared it's ugly head. Not only that but his dodgy temperament and petulance. I know for a fact that Rooney has read Gazza's book, so it seems little has gone in. Furthermore Beck's is in the camp (seen it done it), Sven has warned the idiot about playing it straight the boy should be booed wherever he goes next season.Shierk has to learn...and quickly.

Absolute bollocks! He was fouled at least 3 times during that incident and then that ballet dancer intervened. Roo pushed him aside and that sucker referee decides to make a name for himself-again! Football used to be a mans game before we developed a new breed of Latin cheaters and divers. Ronaldo knew exactly what he was doing as the camera picked up a few seconds later when he winked to a team mate. Hope the frogs stuff them!

It's so stupid! The doctors worked so hard to make him play at this World Cup, but he didn't know how to use this opportunity. I hope he will learn what sportsmanship is, but he is a grown-up player who behaves like a kid!

I liked him the few times I saw him play. Does he think he is the baddest in the world? A genius help his team to become champion, a bone head leaves his team with ten players. And in a world cup quarterfinal!!!!

I couldn't agree with you more. If he would just realize how much more his game has to offer without that temper. I realize his passion is part of what drives him but it needs to be harnessed is a more productive way.

Reminds you of Beckham's red card against Argentina too.
