As much as I was cheering for England I have to admit that Rooney got just exactly what he deserved and I hope it served him notice that he needs to up the maturity level of his game. It was childish and a real let down to the team and fans.

it was a foul and i also think the ref did not apreaciate rooney acting like a moron the entire game. the foul merited a yellow at least, but the fact that he was yelling at the refs all day and then pushed christiano ronaldo put him in the red.
