your just trying to find yourself, your at an insecure age, where you want to be independent, but soon you'll realize that you need your mom more than you could even think.

It sounds like you are headed full steam into puberty.

Relax, it will get worse before it gets better.

You will get mad for no reason that you can think of, and not be able to pull yourself out of it. Then all of a sudden you will be ok again.

You will be confused about this and other things that seem to suddenly happen with no rhyme or reason.

What is happening is that your hormones are shifting and surging and basically running wild within you. It will settle down after a while, but just try to grab the ohhh crap bar, and hold on for the ride.

i'd say that if nothing happened to damage that relationship then you are trying to find some independence, its called growing up, but you have a long way to go so be patient. the next few years are full of confusing feelings and hormones and lots of other strange things, you'll need the love and support of your mom and dad so don't make it too tough on them. it will work itself out, i remember my son saying he was too old to dance with me anymore (we danced together all the time when he was little) i said bullpucky you will dance with me at your wedding and he was just appalled and refused to believe that was true!!! now he's 21 and it all makes sense to him! you'll get there too, and by the way its great that you are thinking about how you feel and what it might mean instead of just reacting to it, keep that up and you'll be in for good things in life and it would make your mom proud to know you are that intelligent and mature! i'm impressed and i don't even know you!

Its a part of growing up. Just get over it cuz they aren't going anywhere not for a while. Just try to hang out with friends so your not always around your mom and dad.

It depends. If it's something like she wouldn't let you spend the night at a friend's house, you're just seriously pissed off right now. It sucks and I know the feeling. If it was anything really serious, like serious enough to make you stop loving her, then you would know. Don't worry you'll probably get over it in a day.

I think all young people feel that way from time to time, It too will pass. Try your hardest to get through it because there will be a time when you wish you could have just one more day with them, and then it will be too late. Good luck.

some moms can get on your nerves, you are wanting more freedom and the more you struggle to get it, the tighter she pulls you back in, it is difficult for parents to let go. she has spent 12 years protecting you now she has to learn to let you protect yourself, don't be too hard on her, it's a natural instinct and she means no harm. she should start to give you little freedoms until you prove you can't handle them, talk to her and tell her to let you make little mistakes on your own, but continue to watch out for you on the big ones. she will observe your wisdom and trust you a little more. which means more freedom for you.
