Only four left and they are all European countries. It is Portugal -v- France and Germany -v- Italy. I know Portugal will take care of France, now that Portugal is back to full strength, and Germany will throw Italy back to Italy. SO IT IS PORTUGAL -V- GERMNAY int he Final. And I pity the Germans... At full strength... unless referees interfere and that is a great possibility, the Portugal team will be World Champions !!! Please keep saying "France and Germany all the way" or maybe even "Itally all the way"... Leave Portugal alone and we will continue to beat the cr_ap of everyone who comes our way.

"Eulercrosser"-- so what would you call Portugal playing against Holland for 30minutes with 10 maen against Holland's 11 and then Prtugal having to play against the same Dirty Dutchees NINE man for the rest of the game... BUT WHEN BOTH TEAMS wer 11-11, Maniche of portugal scored a cracker... What would call that ? Not beat the cr_p out of the Dutch ??

Germany will NOT win the WC. France will not be good enough to beat Portugal. Portugal is a far better team now than Brazil. And that leaves the spectacle of the century... "Oh, it is German of course who are going to win... look they make Mercedes and Prtugal don't !" This isn't about making Mercedes nor is it about Portugal having proved that the World is round. This is about STAMINA, about the super defence that Portugal has and the skill of the likes of Ronaldo, Figo,Maniche, Simao, etc etc. Do you think that 33 year old Figo is not going to give his best to include title of World Champion in his reportoire ?

This is about something else, about a war-like sports of skill... provided referees keep their hands off, and things remain fair, Portugal will go all the way.

"Eulercrosser" -- well done. Now let me take your answer apart. You forget of course that the team England played against today was a sort of a Substitute Portugal team. England hardly played the true Portugal team. Secondly, Holland started out with the REAL Portugal team and while we were 11 against 11, we scored a beauty of a goal. Then the Dirty Dutchees started kicking, ba_ls, faces, and the shambles began. We still survived 30 mins of being doen to 10 men and then a further 45 down to 9. Holland were down on their men for much shorter time. Nor did OPrtugal pulled a close one against England. As I said, our Substitute team was enough for England. You of course cannot deny that... because it is true, LOL !!

What we are talking about here is the ability, the skill, the superiority, that je ne c'est quoi which nobody knows how to spell including myself but which Portugal has tonnes of at the moment... Just so you know 0-0 going to penalties against a 10 man England team is not "beating the cr_ap of everyone."
there are two parts of your statement:
Part A) "beating the cr_ap"
Part B) "of everyone"
Portugal pulled off a close win over England and therefore did not "beat the cr_ap" out of them. Thus not everyone.
