i mean bands like the bands a i specified where they do not write mellow or acoustic songs normally. Goo goo dolls has ballads but long way down is their only hard song.

Try some of the Goo Goo Dolls's lighter stuff- like Name, Slide, or Iris. Also I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, by Aerosmith.

OKay thats all I can think of.
Mainly go for Taproot song on the Blue Sky Research Cd.
Each CD got softer and softer in a way. Hope this helped :-/

Get monster ballads .. Also check out a band called TNT from the 80s there still rocking .. send me a email ill give you list .. there are to many .

get the whole album of Incubus "Morning View" trust me, you'll like it, every songs kicks ***. I luv ballad-soft-mellow songs too
