My husband recently began thinking about getting circumcised. Oddly enough i've never been with a circumcised man and didn't really know how to respond when he told me he was thinking about having it done? Is it really any different at all? Will lovemaking feel different? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Well any answers/advice would help really.

If being circumcised is important to him, then I would be supportive of his decision. The only difference is he will no longer have foreskin covering the tip of his penis. It will make absolutely no difference with respect to lovemaking as far as the woman is concerned, and may or may not bring heightened sensitivity/more pleasure to the man. In general, the overall cleanliness of the penis will improve with the foreskin gone, reducing the chances of bladder infections, etc., and women who have sex with circumcised partners have a lower rate of cervical cancer. If you're still in doubt or have questions, discuss the pros and cons with your doctor. Good luck to both of you.

He is getting it done rather late in life? It will be very uncomfortable for him for a couple of days. My son was circumcised when he was 18 months and he cried everyday for almost a week. When they urinate they need to be very careful of the urine dripping on the stitches. It is cleaner after circumcision.
Good luck

All I have to say is: how do you feel about him wanting to go through with it? Would you like it? Talk to him about it and get information on it, even talk to a doctor together or alone. But let him know how you feel about him doing this.

great a little late however you will have cleaner sex, with less chances of a bacterial infection, which gets passed on to women, men have no signs of it, your sex life will not change everything will still work the same and feel the same, don't worry hun you won't miss that little piece of skin
