While Monday, July 3 is not technically a holiday, many companies will close in observance, in order to enjoy the extra long weekend. There is now law requiring this, so banks and other institutions will make their own policies. Call your bank to see what they plan to do.

Nope. Most banks should be open because it's not a legal holiday, but banks will definitely be closed on the 4th.

No,I work at a bank,Not a Federal holiday,and that other person was right,Stock Market is not closed,so we are not either.Banks rarely close early,either.Gone are banking hours.

no the holiday is on the 4th all goverment services will operate like normal. They only get off the actual day
