I've recently heard from a ftm who has been asked to move out of his family's home because he is transgendered. This is still the child they gave birth to and raised why can't they accept him for who he is, its not his fault he was born into the wrong body.

Many people are still very uninformed of how this can happen, and their personal beliefs get in the way of being able to accept a person no matter who they are, for themselves. It is unfortunate for your friend that his parents have not taken the time or the interest to learn more about what he is going through. It is probably as difficult a time for him as it is for them.

If i was a parent and my kid came and said they thought they was in the wrong body, then i would tell them when ever they meet God, they must talk to him about that, otherwise, stick with what you have.
