Start by sending her a dinner invitation, make her dinner, or if you can't cook, have a friend do it for you. Have someone watch the kiddos that night, if you have any. Then after dinner, draw her a bath and put rose petals and bubble bath in the bath, and then while she's in the bath relaxing, put rose petals on the bed, and from the bathroom door to the bed, to make her feel like she's walking on the "red carpet." Make her feel like a star!! Then pull out a box, with a necklace, or ring. Maybe the past present and future necklace from Walmart. Good luck and congrats on 8 years!

Jewellery if she likes that kind of thing. A gift certificate for some pampering at a spa. A weekend away just the two of you. Again - does not have to be expensive - a local B&B and a movie and a nice meal would be nice.

in my opinion you have dropped the ball if its in two days and you are trying to figure it out on Yahoo answers. You have to plan this, put some time and thought into it, come on dude, this is your wife. Treat her like a queen and not your sister

a massage,facial,hair and nails if she wears them and a break from kids if any.
would'nt hurt to hire out help to have homely chores done for a week if she's(wife) is a working wife.
not toooo costly !!
