Yup! I dont necessarily agree with the point that some people find it okay to be gay, but I do agree that it should be allowed in the united states. if this country is free, anybody should be able to marry anybody they want. and although some catholics think that marriage should be only between a man and a woman, keep in mind that this is a free country and there is a seperation of church and state.
about abortion, im against it because that is giving a woman a right, but that right is the right to kill, not the right to choose between something. there is an innocent life at stake, and nobody should be allowed to kill it.

Yes. We may be the only two people in America who think this way, but yes. The pro choice argument gives rights to the mother, but not to the unborn child. Despite popular belief, there is a human life at the point of conception. Also, there are so many complications that go along with abortion that no one talks about... like bleeding, infection, increased chance of breast cancer, depression, guilt, post traumatic stress disorder, trouble bonding with future children, trouble bonding with men, etc.

I am a lesbian. I am totally for giving gays the same legal rights as everyone else in America. How does legalizing gay marriage break down the family? It doesn't. It enforces it.

I think all people in love should be able to marry under the law (because they can marry now, but that's a whole different topic) and I would never want to get an abortion myself. Now that being said even though it's not my choice I do not have the right to make that choice for anybody else. Equal rights work both ways.

Me Don't ask me why, i just am. Well actually i do know!! Although i am catholic i do not believe being gay is wrong because well i dont and therefore believe in gay marriage as its only fair however I do believe abortion is wrong as it is the killing of a living person (as the foetus or embryo or w/eva it is called is created at the moment of conception)

Me, but if someone did tell me they wanted an abortion, I would support her decision because No one can live in another's circumstances. As for gay marriage, it's two adults and none of my business.

Yes. One of the greatest needs that gays/lesbians have is to have their lives validated. What better way than to be able to openly show the commitment that two have than in a ceremony sanctioned by the courts. Abortion, a question that we have tried to answer since man began to understand the process of reproduction. understanding that abortion is legalized murder should cause anyone who against murder to be against the process of destroying life without cause.

I'm personally against it, but thats because I had to go through 2 of them.........I wouldnt want my daughters to have to go through it, but I would have to support them if they made an informed decision to have one.......Its not my place to decide these things for other people........I think abortion is sadly, a necessary evil.....and NO ONE has the right to decide for others.
