it would depend on how qualified she was for the position compared to the other candidate. i have nothing against a female president, obviously, but people will not vote for a female just because shes running, to be voted for, she must be better then the other candidates

I would only vote for a female president if she shared the same beliefs.. and really knew what she wants to do.. I would not vote for a republican.. thats all out of the question but in interesting to see when will be the day when we actually have that opportunity to show that women can indeed have the potential to run a country..

Your way of thinking is one of the big things that's wrong in this country. Democrats are the same way. It doesn't matter what and who is best for the country and the people. It's only if it's democrats. Your feminist attitude is the same way. I vote for who ever I feel will do the best job, whether that person be man woman, white, black or yellow. Broaden your scope of things!

As a republican Committeeman of the 15th ward of Harrisburg, PA. Beleive that once the voting curtain is pulled anything is possible. I for one would vote for Condi Rice in a heartbeat. I also think that ANYONE WITH ARCAIC THOUGHT PROCESSES MAY NOT. Which of course you with a feminist point of veiw would be split with a great many of your democat colleiges. Though you rake the GOP through the coals, you fall silent when we save millions of women from oppression in Iraq.

I dont EVER see it happening, (You must have been watching those old Popeye cartoons, where Olive Oyl wanted to be president). The United States will never allow a woman run the country. This country was based only and intirely on men to run it, and always will remain that way.

If a woman ran and I felt she would do the best job of running the country, then I would definitely give her my vote. I would not, however, vote for a woman simply because she was a woman.
