Most states now have laws in place that make it mandatory for him to pay his child support. If he doesn't he either loses his drivers license, goes to jail or pays up. Go to your nearest DHS office (Department of Human Services) Child Support Division.
Make sure you don't give up, it's not fair for you to have to support the child or children alone, nor is it fair to the children. After all it's his child/children too!!

Get in touch with child support enforcement in the state where your divorce was granted. Also, get a job that pays well enough that you don't need the CS to survive, cuz counting on it is an effort in futility.

FIle a motion with the judge in the county the child support origniated at.

Go back to your lawyer, or court, and let them know. IF he has a new job, they can track down that information and begin to take the pay again. IF he doesn't have a new job, or if he works, "under the table", you may have some difficulty in starting the payments again.

Get with department of human resources, they can help you if that dosent work, try going to the district attorney where you live.Your ex has to pay or go to jail....good luck!

if your child support is court ordered i would call them and let them know its not being paid and you need it, they'll take the action thats needed.
