Criss Angel, mindfreak, has doen many tricks, such as cut himself in half, make himself disappear, set himself on fire, and levitate himself. He even walked on water! Someone swam right in his path, and behind him as well. Do you think the illusions are real? Or do you think you know what his tricks are?
Personally, I believe him. I just want to see other people's ideas.

I know that they don't do special effects by editing, because he has a handheld camera that he uses as well to prove that what you see is what you get.
Also, when he cut himself in half, you see EVERYTHING. And I mean, everything.

It's hard not to. If he did everything on a stage you could brush it off as just illusions or whatever. But he does just about everything out in the streets among the people seemingly at random times. Unless there's some kind of expose that explains how he does his stuff, you can't help but believe him.

We've been watching his almost all day today. It really is a trip to see some of the stuff he does. I'm leaning towards believing him, there's just no way to explain how the things are done.

It could be for real of course. However the cutting in half and lighting himself on fire thing is all an illusion.
Well he could really light himeslf on fire but he wouldnt be the only one to do that trick.
The walking on water thing, It seems like a cool trick but thats what it is...a trick.

No, like all magic on TV, it's only TV you can stop filming and do some really good editing and you don't even know the scene has changed

Believe him? Do you mean do I think he has magical/supernatural powers. Nope.
Everything he, David Blaine, and David Copperfield do is based on solid science- physics, psychology, showmanship, etc.
Heck, a lot of his cool stuff is even pretty simple... if you have his budget and practice.
You can just be entertained, or you can tape and review his stuff. Most magic can be analysed if you watch it enough. Analyse every step, every angle. In a good trick, every movement has a purpose

no his illusions are not real. he doesnt really make himself disappear or cut people in half. they're tricks. he has no supernaturala abilities, he just knows how to pull off an illusion.

I believe some of his tricks you have to be talented and focused to do but some are just simple illusions

They are not real they are just illusions, tricks that play with your mind. I guess I would have to see it myself to believe. Some of his tricks though you can learn yourself with his dvds. ITs all online like learning how to levitate, but it comes at a hefty price. so no its not real but its still freaking cool!!! MINDFREAK!!!
