Shaq can make a 12 foot shot from the baseline better than 90% of the guards and forwards in the NBA. He's a better shooter from 12 feet than Jason Kidd, who really, really can't shoot worth a damn

And even though Shaq is only 30% of what he used to be as a player, he's still better than 100% of Ben Wallace, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Yao Ming, or any other center in the NBA.

How utterly stupid to question Shaq using his size or strength to overpower people.....that's what low post players do! Is the game not about using what you have to do what you can.....I think that is where the talent thing comes in. I can't understand all the hate for a man who is the most dominating Big man ever to play the game .Admittedly he is on the decline because of several health issues like the arthritis in his toe , but is that not expected after carrying his 300 + frame up & down the court for so many seasons. Put aside your personal jealousy & accept the fact that the Man has skills despite the weak points that are so profoundly exposed because of how great his strengths truly are.

Made it? are you crazy, you cant say he only made it becuase of his height! Look at Manute Bol he was 7'7 and he never won a championship. Hes as dominate as jordan, bird, magic and every other DOMINANT legend there ever was. You must be off your rocker even to consider "shak" sucking, at least spell it right. The fact that he cant shoot foul shots is his only weakness, and only opinion, becuase, (although you wouldnt know) in 2001 he shot 10-11 from the line in one game. So he can shoot from the foul line. And jsut becuase he cant shoot the foul shot deter his greatness? Hell no! He still has 4 championships under his belt and has made (Penny/anfernee) Hardaway, KB8 and wade into the superstars they are or once where. Any doubt remaining ask another question.

I think shaq sucks and i love basketball, im just not a heat fan like all you front-runners. He can't shoot, can't make free-throws worth a $hit, and his only points come with the post-up and dunking....and even then he doesn't score most of the time. just take a look at the playoff points he had on nba.com . Now.....most of you will say because he was double-teamed, he couldn't score....... dwyane wade was sometimes double-teamed and he scored too more than tripple shaq's points! Well, if you look at the past, shaq was an all-star player so you can't take that from him. But now, he's losing his popularity cause of wade. Shaq right now really does $uck. without the heat, he'd probably be better.

Shaq is definitely on the decline. Right now he's only using his size to overpower people and score. His free throw percentages in the playoffs were awful too. He's definitely a fan favorite, though.
