Sometimes by body language,
sometimes by logic,
sometimes by(silent) witness(es),
sometimes you can't.
Maybe he tells the truth.

1. Look for body language that might indicate someone is lying, such as not looking you in the eye when speaking to you, being fidgety, or acting nervous or uncomfortable.

2. Listen for inconsistencies in what the person tells you, such as different stories on different days, different time frames, mistakes in remembering details or mixing up details.

3. Notice if the person steadfastly resists answering any questions. Extreme defensiveness could mean that he or she is trying to hide something.

4. Notice if the person accuses you of lying or being deceitful when you really haven't been. This could reflect the other person's own underlying behavior, which he or she is projecting onto you rather than owning up to it.

5. Listen to your gut and intuition. You may just know someone is lying. If you are not sure, don't jump to conclusions. Try to get some evidence to back up your hunch.

6. Consider asking directly if the person has lied to you. Many people feel bad getting caught up in lies, and find it a relief to finally be honest.

7. Try to be understanding and listen to the person's reasons for lying. Was he trying not to hurt you? Was she afraid you would be angry, upset or disappointed?

8. Look at your possible role in having someone lie to you. Are you someone who gets so upset hearing the truth that others feel they can't be honest with you?

How To Spot a Liar:

1. No eye contact. His eyes will look away. If the room has a means of egress - that's where they'll look.
2. Crossing of arms and/or legs (a protective instinct).
3. The pupils of the eyes will narrow. Lying is stressful.
4. Hands on the face, especially the mouth. They are "covering" the lie.
5. Talking fast. A liar wants to get it over with.
6. Sometimes the head will nod a "no" when answering a "yes" question or visa versa. This is a subconcious movement.
7. Mispronouncing the words or mumbling. A liar kinda thinks he is not lying when he pronounces words incorrectly or mumbles.
8. Overstated friendliness/laughing. He wants you to believe and he wants you to like him so you will believe him.

Usually body language says it all. If he looks away,or down that is a sign of him not being truthful. If he can't look you in the eyes and tell you he still loves you and that he is not seeing other women then more than likley he is lying to you.

There are alot of ways to tell someone is lying to you. some peoples cheeks turn read when they lie. Others may avoid looking you in the eye and instead may focus on their feet or other objects. Also people may scratch or move arond alot when they're lying. Everybody has a tell you just have to find it.

I can always tell when my boyfriend is lying to me if he cannot keep a straight face. It's annoying! Butttt, I would say that other warnings would be, avoiding looking you straight in the face, walking away or overeacting when you ask him a question about it.

Do you know what "trust" means? If you don't trust him then don't ask him. Better leave him.

How can anyone know when you are telling lies? If you are serious about knowing then talk to a private detective.

Ask God if he is telling the truth. People understand the importance of God.
