It was very painful, and my chest is sore since yesterday. What I want to know is how long does the pain last it's almost a day. Also my friend was dumb enough to use it on his crotch, and he says he has sticky blood. He is too embarassed to tell his mom about, does he have to see a doctor about it or will he heal over time?

You Guys!!... Would you please leave that to Women! We're the ones who supposed to do that.

As far as the pain goes, don't worry. It WILL subside and go away within 24 to 72 hours, if you've done it for the first time. Soreness and redness will pass and it won't hurt anymore. When you'll do it next (again), it won't hurt this much.

How serious is the injury?
If it is very serious, let him know that he needs to see a doctor to make sure that everything's alright and there are no threat of further complications.
If it is not very serious, your friend has nothing to worry about. Just tell him to make sure that he won't wear anything tight for a while, and apply Vitamin E lotion or Neosporin to the injured part of the body. The bleeding just means he pulled off hair either too quickly or in a wrong direction. It will go away within a week or less.

Remember to read the steps and details on the container / box, don't take reading them lightly (it IS important for your own well-being and good results), so that way you won't have a problem like this again in the future. If you have any other pain take a Tylenol or Excedrin and it will go away in about 15 to 30 minutes.

Just to let you know, there's an alternative to this: Wipe-on and wipe-off lotions that you can leave for couple of minutes on your hair and then wipe off. You'll have the same look and affect as with the razor or Nair, and plus to that not only does it smell refreshing, it is all *painless* :)

There's nothing alarming about this and nothing to worry about :)

o.k. there is one really good thing that I can suggest.......first let me say that you can go to a drug store and get .....BAG BALM; if you can not find it on the shelf; ask the druggest..it is not a perscribed medication.........you can buy it just like you can buy any neosporin cream or anything... I would put it all over my chest...it is icky; but what the heck... put a shirt on and deal with it for a couple of days... it will get better......#2, o.k. where is your friends sticky blood coming from? if it is coming from his penis or he now has open sores; I would DEFINATELY see a doctor; I realize it must be of the utmost embarasement; but he may need some special antibiotic to help himself heal; otherwise he may get infected and it may be alot worse in the long run...if it is just on the side of his legs or he does not have any open wounds...try the bag balm.........it is soothing.......it will be uncomfortable,..it will be like wearing vasoline (grease) but in a couple of days it will be much better......(bag balm comes in a square green tin container) it's what they used to use (maybe they still do) when the cows utters became extremely sore (maybe from milking or nursing?) not sure.............but they have sold it for years as an anti-septic and healing ointment..........I have used it for myself when I used that stupid nair **** also; and have used it on my kids when they had really bad cuts......... good luck! If your friend is bleeding, however and has puss coming out; I may call a doctor.... take care

Nair isn't precisely a hair remover, i think of that's extra like a hair melter. It melts the hair on precise of the floor so the floor the place you utilized it's going to be comfortable to the touch for some days (2-3). attempt to apply much less time next time (i come across 8 minutes long adequate) or discover some thing for comfortable epidermis. chuffed holiday journeys. ^_^

the pain in your chest will go away in a few days.... i don't care if it says for men on it..........stuffs for girls! they just added for men on it so men would buy it too & not feel uncomfortble.... just chalk it up as a lesson learned. you woulld not catch my grandfater dead with Nair in the same room. if you wants the hair removed save up & go to a salon to wax it or laser it (laser treatment take mulitple steps to be perminent)

your friend need to see a doctor that stuff can easily be absorbed through the scrotum in to the blood steam. that is one thing you don't want to mess with.... who knows what could happen. if its my crotch & it hurts i'm gong to the emergency room. tell him to tell his mom that some people at school or on the street jumped him put some Nair down his pants & it hurts & he did not see who they were. if he want to be clean down there use a beard trimmer & trim it close . don't use a razor since a razor can cause to shave too close & it will itch or have ingrown hairs.

hope this helps

My husband used this on his back. It was red & sore like a sunburn the next day and then went away. Then about a week later he broke out in terrible acne. I say don't use that stuff again.
