I mean where'd all the Allen Iverson fans go? Now everyone's talking about LBJ D-Wade and Nash. The only talk you here of AI these days is him possibly getting traded to the Boston Celtics. And they mention it like it's nothing ground-breaking. I MEAN COME ON! AI has the highest career points average among active players...and the THIRD HIGHEST ALL TIME only to Michael Jordon and Wilt Chamberlain. Is the player that was once the most popular player in the NBA now UNDERRATED?!

Its true, he has become underrated. Hes a very dominant player, especially for his size. There are better players out there (LBJ and Kobe etc.), but AI is still a great player.

I dont think he has become underrated among people in the league. But there isn't going to be much hype around a player when his team isnt making the playoffs.

The sixers have been stinking it up the last couple of seasons and unfortunately this has meant less publicity for AI. AI is still capable of doing the things hes done in the past and still does it.

Also the NBA is marketing players like Lebron, Wade and younger stars. This all plays into why we see less of AI and why we dont hear much talk about him. But please believe that teams around the league do not overlook AI.

Underrated no, maybe unapreciated, but still not even that, he want invited to tryout for the Olympic team and brought a negative image to the game ever since his tatoos were airbrushed off for photo shoots. Now that the hip-hop culture is in in the NBA he is not on a succesful team. He had his chance, and his past his prime. Now that he even has someone to pass to it doenst help him (Iguodala/webber) either. Look at KG he was MVP when his team was making the playoffs and now that his team wasnt doing that good yet he still was doing well statistically he lost alot of media attention.

You know that he averages 33.0 and 28 of career and third all time AI is the best player. He averages 7.5 assists so you cant call him a ballhog. He averages 2 steals so he is playing defense.kevin j is right IVERSON IS NOT GOING TO BE TRADED PERIOD. Iverson is better than lebron kobe and wade.

GO SIXERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont think its underrated i think its an aging superstar who wants to win before hes past his prime and a team that is thinking youth who would some picks for the future. phily doesnt want to win know and iverson is to old to wait its time for them to cut ties and look in different directions.
