It just seems the league is full of publicity stunts, mismanagement and bad marketing. The latest one has David Beckham playing in the MLS for LA or NYC...whatever. Why won't the league's owners at least try to make the game appealing to Americans? Why are they so arrogant? Do they need to hire a professional from another successful American professional league, like the NBA or NFL?

MLS is poorly mismanaged, and they're trying to pose as European and Mexican football teams, leaving out an American style which could bring in outside fans. Proof of this can be found in the team names, Just look at Real Salt Lake, FC Dallas, Chivas USA, and Houston 1836.

i agree with you.... what has happened to american innovation?

seems like they are trying to please the world instead of designing an awesome football league... this is why US did so poorly in the cup..... no innovation, no balls... no pun intended
