he wasn't the one who stomped on someone's balls! He got the decisive penalty that would determine the winner. Are England fans just sore losers???? And don't give me that "but he's a fellow team mate!" or "the portuguese are divers and cheats!"crap!! coz they're not!!Your country comes first!

There is no point in blaming Ronaldo. England had 120 minutes in which to score, and they didn't. A match of this magnitude is going to be extremely competitive anyway. No team is perfect, and there will always be winners and losers.

I personally think its extremely unfair to point any finger of blame at Ronaldo. And yes, I am from England.

because he and the Portugese goalie are ******* cheats that's why, but, to be fair, that is not the only reason England lost.

The top 11 reasons England lost:

1. The manager is a strategically inept idiot. The lone striker strategy didn not work against equador, Beckham's brilliant free kick won us that game, not Sven. Why the **** did he keep that system? Why did he keep a system in which Rooney, (A known hot-head) would be kept without sufficient service, therefore guarenteeing a frustrated Roonie. A red card waiting to happen.

2. Rooney did not and never has shown the level of talent to rate him as an all-time great, or even as our best player, even when fit. Beckham, Owen, Lampard, Gerrard, when on form are every bit as good. Yes he tries hard, and yes he is determined, but he is not all that, and certainly NOT good enough to be a lone striker. he proved that against a miserable Equador side, So why keep him in that role? He is the most over-rated English player in history.

3. the media way OVERHYPING Rooney. how can they forgive themselves for the amount of pressure and expextation they have put in his young, overpaid and undertalented head?

4. Portugal's Goalie cheating in the penalties, "I wasn't ready," no and you failed to save the ******* goal, you shouldn't get another chance! you cheating bastard!

5. The ref. Biased, blind and as much of a cheat as the Portugese.

6. Ronaldo's constant bad sportsmanship.

7. Beckhams weak leadership, he's past his best, overpaid and undertalented.

8. WHY OH WHY WAS LAMPARD EVER ALLOWED ON THE PITCH? when a player has more attempts on goal than any other player and misses EVERY ******* ONE??? that's a hint that he is SH1T! off form and unlucky. shame for him, but if you want to win, put people on the pitch who look like they can score a goal.

9. Useless finishing! The England players looked like they had figured out how to defend, win the ball, get it up the other end of the pitch, into the opposing side's area, but then had no ******* clue what to do with the ball then. They actually looked like they had forgotten what the point of the game is? a clue: the aim is NOT to prevent your opposing side from scoring. Although useful, it is not the aim. the aim is to SCORE GOALS! you know, that retangular white frame with a net. the ball is supposed to go IN to that!

10. WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT ABOUT TAKING A PENALTY? Just boot the fucker as HARD as you can! don't try to be clever and side foot it in slowly! BANG THE FUCKER IN!

11. The English team are a pampered over paid goup of prima-donnas who do not understand the psychology of winning, why should they? They still have their mansions, Range Rovers, Mercs and WAGS getting all the STAR treatment.

Here's an IDEA, for every goal they let in, we charge all the players a percentage of thier income. for every goal scored, we pay them.

I would say, if they loose we shoot their children, but some people might think that cruel. I bet they would win then though.

Ronaldo was the one who rushed over to the ref AFTER the foul was given. The ref was not going to book anyone until that cheating b£$%rd Ronaldo ran twenty yards to tell the ref to book Rooney, this upset Rooney who touched Ronaldo,(who surprised me by not grabbing his own face and dropping to the ground). The red card was given for the aggressive behaviour from Rooney on Ronaldo, not for the foot in the gonads,(which looked pretty accidental).
Roncheato said something to Rooney BEFORE the game started which annoyed Rooney, then Roncheato was seen winking and shushing towards his mates after getting Rooney sent off. To me he set out to get Rooney sent off as he knows Rooney was Englands key player and he knows he has a bit of a temper.
Ronaldo IS a cheat as he deliberately got a player sent off and was clearly seen rejoicing in the fact.
And don't get me started on the Portuguese(sorry i mean Argentinian) referee or the diving techniques of the Portuguese flying sportsmen
But beside all the cheating and the diving i personally don't think either team (England or Portugal) played any good football, the game was a pile of shite and England were CRAP...bye bye Sven

Ronaldo was, is and probably always will be a cheat. The End. You cannot argue against the fact that his behavour was unsporting and action should indeed be taken against him for his sucessful attempt to influence the refs decision. I hope you are not so disillusioned to truly think your side do not cheat. Whats the game called again? Is it 'football' or 'dive, roll and scream'??

I think you will find, (like in 99.9% of times your players go down), the player is not at all injured. If Rooneys 'foul' was anything like as bad as it is being cracked up to be, you would have seen that player in agony not just playing to get Rooney carded. You are very good at one team sport - cheating against your opponents - I don't care if they are Holland, England or any other team - you do not play clean football and should not be allowed to compete in major events such as the world cup unless you learn to play the game as it is meant to be played.

Everyone is blaming Ronaldo because it is easier than admitting that the english team just weren't up to the task.
In future they should maybe leave the likes of Rooney & his childish tantrums at home.
At the end of the day English fans & players always blame someone else. This time ift will be Ronaldo - I feel sorry for him when he returns to his club after this is all over. Rooney will be sulking & won't speak to him - stupid little boy.
