I would think that the penny was luckier than the shamrock. My grandpa used to find shamrocks all the time, and they brought him nothing but bad luck. He could find four-leaf clovers with his eyes closed.
If I see a heads-up penny, I pick it up. If I see a tails-up penny, I flip it over so that the next person who comes along will have some good luck.

the penny....the shamrock is cool but can be found anywhere there is toxic waste so it is kinda gross....and 100 pennies makes a dollar even if I only find 50 I can buy a coke! I like luck but I believe in something more concrete and personal

Finding a penny is luckier because you can save them up and spend them! :) I'm not sure I believe in luck. However, I have met some people that seem to have unbelievably good luck and then again I have met some people that have such bad luck that I wonder if they are cursed!

a shamrock because i have never found one b4 and penny's on heads are so common. and yes i do believe in luck.

Finding a four leafed clover is definitely harder to find than a face up penny. The clover is luckier.

I think finding a penny would bring you more luck, and it doesn't matter if it's heads up or tails up when you find it.

The four leaf clover is infintately more luck granting than the penny. How many clovers have you seen that have four leaves?

I don't believe in "luck". But I'm happy when I find a 4 leaf clover.
