Nothing. Since Easter is in the spring, early Christians attracted pagans by trying to merge a Spring, pagan festival with Easter.

In short, the pagan festival celebrated Spring (the renewing of life). Their symbol, in essence, was a rabbit (which renews life a lot, if you get my drift).

I hope this helps.

The resurrection of Jesus doesn't have anything to do with the Easter bunny!! It's all about Jesus!! Because Jesus died so u and I could be free so would u believe in a big bunny bouncing around with a cotton tail or a man who gave his life so we could live?!?!?!?!

Nothing. The easter bunny came from the pagan holiday. Jesus is the reason for the Christian holiday.

The Romans believed that all life proceeded from an egg, so the egg came to symbolize birth and rebirth. Christians regarded eggs as the seeds of life and attributed them with the symbol of Jesus' resurrection.

The rabbit was used in early Easter celebrations to symbolize fertility, perhaps because these animals give birth to multiple offspring at a time. Anglo-Saxon mythology says that Ostara changed her pet bird into a rabbit to entertain a group of children, and the rabbit laid brightly colored eggs for them.

Easter was once celebrated by giving colored eggs to children and later evolved to hiding them in the grass, where they had supposedly been laid by a hare. Children referred to this Easter mascot as the "Easter Hare," which later became known as the "Easter Bunny."

Nothing.

The "Easter Bunny" is a Pagan figure. It is a symbol of fertility during the Spring. As are eggs, baskets, chicks, and most other "Easter" related symbols.

Nothing whatsoever. It might be a way of sugar coating the holiday for the kiddies since Jesus died and ascended and whatnot.
