My uncle makes match-stick models, and has been trying to find plans for wooden roller coasters, so that he can make a model version.... Does anybody have any ideas, as the only ones we have managed to find, are kits with all plans/designs done for you, but he doesn't like working from kits, as it doesn't have that 'personal touch' to it!!!!! Any help would be appreciated.

You could try insipration from games:

The rollercoaster series by Chris Sawyer, expecially rollercoaster two, it shows many premade, and real rides as a werid try? It can be played on the pc, see google for info...

as for real plans I have no idea, I looked and found no plans etc... I also suggest you look at photos on google for rides etc... and lift ideas...
