A lot of pricier make-up brands actually have nutrients that your skin needs contained in them and can be healthy to put on your face if used properly.
In terms of make-up, it's in the application that can make one look older. For instance, women with fine lines should not use frosty make-up as it hilights the lines.

if YOU think you look nicer with makeup, then wear makeup. It's all about what makes you feel good about you. I wear makeup because I can use it to subtly enhance my good features and cover-up any blemishes. That makes me feel like I look good, so I don't obsess over it. Most people won't care one way or the other. It's all about what YOU want.
Yes, if you're a teen you can look a bit older if you wear tasteful makeup. Just because most teens wear wild makeup and too much, so applying makeup well will make you look older. However once you're older than makeup CAN (if you do it right) make you look younger.

Make up is cool as long as you know how to put it on. Put on too much foundation and your face looks chalky and heavy. Too much blush just looks bad. Too much lipstick looks sloppy and often smears.
Just use a little bit of make up to enhance your looks. Don't let it take over your face. The natural look is very in right now. As long as you take care of your skin and don't tan too much or smoke, your skin will look fine as you get older.

Two out of three of my girlfriends went make-up free. This allows for more times to do other things. If your job requires make-up than put it on for work. I prefer women to go either bare faced or minimal make-up. I have never understood the need for a women to get fully dressed up as a doll to go grocery shopping.

can you put the appostrophe in 'shouldn't' in the right place, please.
i personally don't use makeup coz i'd look just as rubbish with it on as without and i really can't be bothered, so if you are worried about this, don't use makeup. some types of make-up make your skin greasy but i've never heard of it making you look older.

It's entirely your prerogative. There's nothing inherently wrong or right about makeup--just make sure that whatever makeup you do choose to wear is well-known and healthy for your face.

make-up is fine if you know how to put it on. a little bit goes a long way though. I don't think make-up makes anyone look older if anything it makes you look younger. I think that make-up should be used but sparingly.
