You should look for ways to improve the place and take on new responsibilities, if the company is good. If you don't like it, start looking for something new (don't let go of the good paying job until you get a new job). Your happiness is more important so if do nothing and making money makes you happy then stay. The problem is if you are not growing your career then you may want to look for a job with comparable pay and where you are challenged to grow.

You have to give it some time and "grow" into the job. Once you learn more about the company and the job, you can take on more responsibility and add your input to the job description. I wanted to quit my new job for the entire first year. Now, I'm really really thankful I didn't.

Don't knock it, stay and enjoy the great pay. I bet before long someone is going to ask you to do something.

what kinda job is it? Are they still hiring?? (LOL) Don't complain. If you do, I'm sure they will find MORE WORK for you to do. Take the initiative and maybe help your fellow co-workers; you never know who's watching, and putting gold stars next to your name for future projects!
