if you complain that you have to nag him, that he doesn't pay enough attention to you, that he doesn't listen to you, etc etc
Then why not just divorce him? I mean you both would probably be happier, wouldn't you?

Put your claws back in, I'm not even married. I just get tired of seeing these questions asked over and over. I figure if you are miserable and he is miserable than why bother?

Sometimes it's not about complaining. From a married woman's point of view, it's about wanting to understand. Women, as you know, are VERY inquisitive when it comes to men. And as you know, men will never quite understand why women think the way we do.
Do you think we would have gotten married to begin with if they started off this way? Not a bloody chance! For me, my husband & I could be the best of enemies, but I will NEVER give him the satisfaction of divorce.

Just because someone is not PERFECTLY happy in a particular situation , does not mean they would be happier in the available different situations, or even ANY situation.
In fact, the opposite is usually true. If you divorce a person because they are difficult to live with, then be prepared for single life. Everybody is difficult to live with. Most things worth doing are difficult.
We make our situations better by improving ourselves. By being less selfish ourselves. By working at things that are difficult.

Why can't men make the effort women do? If a man loves a woman he needs to show her that he appreciates her. Thats all we want.... a little recognition, and some help with the dishes.

I don't have that type of problems with my husband,..do you think that it might be true that you don't pay enough attention to her...it might just be that she feel that you pay more attention to other unimportant things and not to her.

not necessarily they love each other its just that males suffer from selective hearing; they only hear what they want to hear.
