Just right click on the date OR the specific visited site and click delete.
Thats how I do it all the time.
OR select Tools- Internet Options - Clear History

I am assuming you are using internet explorer. Click view > Explorer Bar>History In the History window you will see a list, right click on each day on the list (one at a time) then click delete
for each one

Go to "My Computer", click on you "C" drive then right click on your mouse, click on "property" then click on "Disk Cleanup" this will clean up all files and cookies you do not need. Once the system find all files you dont need you can view them and then click ok. You can also go to search from the start button and type in Cookies and same way with history. click on the folder where it listed your "C" drive. select all and delete. Hold the control button and click on index folder and then delete all cookies. Same way for 'History' find the folder that has all your website that you went to and delete them.

hmm well u can try 1 more thing.. on ur browser window, at d top, u will find a green circular arrow tht will b labelled HISTORY if u put ur mouse pointer on it 4 a few seconds.. click on tht n a new window will appear on d left of ur browser window.. it will show a list of all d sites which u hav visited.. right click on d day such as YESTERDAY, TODAY, 2 WEEKS BEFORE etc n click DELETE.. voila!

open up a interent window. then go to Tools ---> interent options ---> settings ----> view files ---> then click the previous folder button (takes u to a previous folder) ---> history folder ---> then find the day u want and then delete them.
