It has been setting the "EGR circuit range/performance" code. and the multi cylinder misfire code. The technician looked at it with an OBD2 and said there is no power to the EGR. He said to check fuses and relays and wires. But it all looks good to me. I thiught it may be the PCM, but the problem is intermittent, last night it ran perfect. Today it is acting up again.

I can only check the problem while driving, cause at an idle it is fine.

if it is an intermittent problem then your best bet is wait till the check engine light comes on and stayes on for atleast 45 seconds then take it to a dealer other thatn that there is nothing that can be done. i had the same problem with a 19193 lumina i had kept having intemmitten problems untill it showed a check engine kight. than i found my problem with out paying out every time it acted up

Intermittent problems usually mean wiring. The next time it acts up try moving some of the wires at the wiring harness - see if that makes a difference. If so then you can narrow the search. If not then trace the wiring and see if any of it is slightly bare and hitting the engine block thus shorting it out.

What you need to do in this situation is take sugar about 2 cups and funnel it into your gas tank when you have less than 2 gallons
