I am arriving early one morning from USA, and want to freshen up to spend day in Milan before I leave for Venice late in the day.

I've flown in and out of Malpensa countless times, but don't recall seeing a shower. Maybe there is one in the Alitalia Lounge (if such a lounge exists). Otherwise, try one of the hotels that I've linked to below (the first one is nice and they often have last-minute room deals). Alternately, I know a one-star hotel near Milan's Duomo where you could pay EUR 30 for a shower and a place to store your bags. There is no website, but see the third link for photos and a phone number.

i'm sure there is a shower at the airport - but you are talking italy: you might to face your worst toilet-experience....
rather stay sweaty


ask in a hotel around the airport to help you
