i wanna get mine done for ma birthday...iono though..i heard itll get infected fast..i have 2 holes in each ear but not up top

The piercing itself wasn't bad ( little pinch). But navel piercings are some of the hardest and longest piercings to heal. It typically takes up to a year to heal (longer for some) and had a high percentage of rejection. It really hurts if you slack off on your cleaning regimen early and it gets infected. And, make sure that you don't wear clothes that are tight around the waist for a long time after you get pierced.
Also keep in mind that it will heal better if you get a captured ball type jewelery. you can switch to the sexy bar-bell type after the healing over.

Don't be scared. I got mine 2 years ago when I was 13 and it hardly hurt at all. It felt akward more than hurtting when it was done. I didn't look at the needle until it was over and that helped a lot. Don't chicken out, it is worth the little pain. Good Luck!

umm i had mine done it didnt hurt that bad and when i got mine done the lady slipped and had to puch it trough again coz she only got it part way through befor she slipped and that didnt hurt htat bad and i cleaned mine a lot and it never got infected the whole two years i had it in i took it out a year ago and let it close but it didnt hurt to bad the only thing i thought that hurt about it was getting it cought on things afterwards like my belt or pants that type of thing

it hardly hurt when i got mine done, and it didnt get infected while it was healing.
it has been infected a couple times since then, but only for a coulple days. and its really no big deal at all. just take good care of it.

I don't have mine done but I've heard my friends say it doesn't hurt for the first few seconds then it's like a pinch-like feeling.

when you get it done you won't feel a thing.the pain starts after a couple of hours when the anesthezic wears off.they do get infected quickly this is why you have to practice an impecable hygene

Oh honey, I got mine done and me and my boy couldn't touch me for two WEEKS! It didn't hurt as bad as the Prince Albert though.
