Do all men really want sex all the time, or is this a myth? I am married, but even before I was married I have yet to find a man that could keep up with me, or that wants sex as much as I do!! What's up!? Is this just a sterotype?? Cause if so, it should be changed, it's damaging to both the esteem of men and women!
What are your thoughts and feelings on this?

Hello LoveBiologist, here is my theory, when two people start a relationship, the sex is usually often and very good. After a while though you start to fall into certain habits and ruts. I'm talking about both the man and the woman here. What happens now is the person who isn't quite into the sex as much as the other now starts saying that they "don't feel like it tonight, I'm too tired" If you look at these questions on here daily you will see men asking why their wives can't keep up just as often as you see women asking the same question of their husbands!
When this happens, the person who is still wanting sex often starts to obsess about it and feels like they can never get it often enough. I know this because my wife was that way and I obsessed for almost 10 years! Finally we started talking, talking very seriously about what we BOTH wanted. Now, I am happy to say that I can barely keep up with her! It will take some time but if you find that right guy, keep talking to each other and BOTH of you need to make efforts to do things for each other.
I can talk to you more about this if you want to.
Good luck~

The major male populace does. if you listen to the talk. The problem is that they don't want it with the same person all the time. Most men I know, including myself, when in a relationship, like to fantasize and talk about sex with other women, which makes people think that they want sex all the time. The reality is just that, we talk about it.

I have yet to find a lady that wants sex as often as I do, which I personally, think is another reason for the myth. I have often heard "He wants sex all the time" from many, many, many Lady's when talking about their partner!!

both sexes have people with extreme libido's either way. It is more common (IMO) for a man to want it more often - there are even jokes about women not wanting it any more after marriage (scientists have found a food that can lower a woman's sex drive by over 90% - wedding cake).

if you ask me, that is an important part of a relationship and it is VERY tough to be with someone where there is a large deparity in frequency of desire.

I suspect men and women cover the full range from zero to often. The problem seems to be matching them up. Perhaps we should have a scheme where we're colour coded for sex drive. At least then we could choose whether we wanted to mix differences or not.

I'm a fiery red by the way, my soon to be ex-wife is ice blue.

Most men think about sex every 10 sec. At least those are the statistics.......I am not a man, sorry...
If your man does not want sex as often as you do, you can try a product called Pure Satisfaction.....It helps to increase libido...It works VERY well....the best thing is that it is unisex!!

not to sound rude, BUT...

you sound like nympho. not necessarily a bad thing, but you will have trouble finding the one who can keep up.

as per the question, the only time i don't wanna make love to my wife is after i've gone to bed, and she wakes me up (heavy sleeper). but once she begins to ride me, i really cant fight (you cant rape the willing).other than that, i'm good to go.

AMEN!! My sex drive was ALWAYS higher than my husbands. To me going two days without sex, was two days too long.
