could anyone tell me how to make sure that a image of mine is .JPG or .PNG??? i can't figure out how to....

You need to be more specific with your question. If all your asking is whether or not your image is in jpg or png format, try looking at the file extension.

If you're using microsoft windows, in the Explorer window, go to the Tools menu and select "Folder Options". Click on the "View" tab and find the option that says, "Hide extensions for Known Types" and be sure that this is UNCHECKED. You should then be able to tell if your files are .png or .jpg.

If you have a file that had no extension, give it the .png extension and attempt to open it. If it works, then it's .png. If that doesn't work, give it the .jpg extension and try to open it. If it works then, then it's .jpg. If neither approach works, then it probably is neither .png nor .jpg.

Extension. If your program saves as..png or jpg you can be sure it is one.. If you change by hand...You are just a not so smart computer user.

open my computer click on tools and go to folder options click the view tab and then un-check the box that says hide extensions for known file types

Right click on the image and "save as".....be sure the extensions are jpeg, or .gif, or whatever you want, then click "save".

Hope that helps.

I find inserting pictures in outlook in new email and working there is really easy.

to find out for an individual image, just right-click it and go to "properties"..(then look at "type").if you need to change from one file type to another, you will need an imaging program such as Photoshop...you can try with Paint also
